Don't start building your road until you know you have enough food to get through the rocks blocking the way to the storehouse.ġ0. Snow levels don't regenerate their berry bushes.Ĥ. Prioritize picking berries on all levels except the snowy ones because they regenerate. Always pick the berries if your worker is not doing anything else.ģ. Try to keep your workers moving as much as possible.Ģ.

While great to have at the end, I usually find that I need more resources rather than more speed, so upgrade everything else before building these.ġ. These will permanently speed up your workers' obstacle clearing and building speed. New to the second game are the smithy and workshop.

Consider upgrading your camp before upgrading other buildings because of the worker plus speed benefit.ġ0. Most of the time you don't need to upgrade the sawmill.ĩ. Upgrade the storehouse if you have an upgrade available.Ĩ. These add 1 resource to each load brought in, including berries, trees, gold piles, and stone piles.ħ. Next if you have storehouses, you should build those even if you have to work to get to them. Usually build the mine next because you can't clear obstructions without the mine.Ħ. Build the sawmill and farm first if you can get to them.Ĥ. Upgrade the camp to level 2 first thing.ģ. A good general build strategy is to do the following:Ģ. This building allows your workers to remove obstructions and pick up resources faster.ġ. This building that allows your workers to build buildings, roads, and bridges faster.ĩ. This works just like a boat except it goes underwater.Ĩ. Once you clear the opening to a cave, the top will come off and you can see what is waiting for you inside.ħ. Depending on the level, this will be either a flooded area, fog, or fire.Ħ. You will pay the stated offering and the large obstruction will clear. After that there is no waiting to get to the other side. You will usually need to find a key and then unlock the teleporter before you can use it. While you can have more than one worker on the other side of a rope, they are a little bit slower to cross than a bridge.Ĥ. While you can progress onto the next level if you finish before the day is over, the expert rank is what gamers will want to achieve.ģ.
This is the motivation to be an expert on the challenge levels. The relaxed mode has completely removed the timer.Ģ.
If you want, you can play a level first in the relaxed mode and the repeat it in the challenge mode. If you get stuck on a level, you will have to start in the relaxed mode (with the same player if you want) and work up to that point.
